VISUAL COMMUNICATION : TASK 4 THE CULTURAL OF CUSTOMER IN RESTAURANT

In 2.11.2012, we have a trip go to KLCC for shoot some picture or interview with the different cultural people.  For example like type of different people cultural, what there like visit to KLCC and so on. We start on 9.30am waiting at college by bus and then 10am will start leave from college.

After that, in Malaysia have an 88-storey Pertonas Twins Towers are the tallest twin buildings in the world. Suria KLCC has been one the most popular tourist malls for ages and also one of the top famous places to visit in Kuala Lumpur. The sky bridge is a really attraction people. It was really refreshing experience to be up there and It was so breathtaking. Locals always call it a tourist mall, but still had ten of thousand come to this mall every weekend to relax and hand out. Located in the heart of Kuala Lumpur, it contains a complex of office buildings, conference halls, an up market also have a shopping complex and sprawling park. So many cultural will went to there because of there is also the Petronas Art Gallery, a world-class art gallery is really enjoyed the artwork of local and international artist design. Besides that, there were so many have fun and attractive attractions where can enjoy and have a fun with. For example like a lot of diverse plants, there had 1.3 km jogging track and footpath,  a children’s wading pool, and also a colorful playground, which makes playing a great treat for children. 



The Culture of Customer in restaurant



The Dome Cafe is a cafe come continental style restaurant and dome are well renowned for coffees; this coffee beans are made from 100% Arabica beans that are selected and roasted to perfection by our master roaster. They are intensely flavored and fragrant and have been critically acclaimed the world's best. The Dome accompany selected of coffees, their menu also include of gourmet foods and cakes. Besides that, the dome cafe with indoor seating and outdoor seating can overlook the park and lake. The Dome cafe is a wonderful place to sit and also can enjoy the view. 

In addition, Very busy at lunchtime with business man and women from the neighborhood office towers, The Dome serves everything from sandwiches and salads to entrees and dessert. Actually Dome restaurant focus to Good as a drink, Great as a dessert.

Furthermore, some of customer is coming restaurant is for chatting, read book, doing work, business meeting and so on. Many business professionals hold meetings during lunch or dinner with clients. Restaurant makes a great place to connect with a business partner while enjoying a delicious dinner and also can enjoying their coffees bean. That is their meeting cultural, they will think in restaurant business meeting can enjoying in meeting, not need to stress in office meeting. Basically meeting in office, but for them will think in office more stress and pressure.

 Therefore, they outdoor seating because of inside restaurant had a lot of customer coming for taking lunch so the talking sound effect should be louder and very noisy, can’t hear as well. If outdoor seating more easy to hear each other speaking and talking. And their body language looks like seriously to meeting.

Besides that, modern restaurants already have a free Wifi to internet, that why easy for them to meeting in restaurant and also more easy to doing their work or online in restaurant. Some of people will enjoy their restaurant coffee and while online.  That is their restaurant cultural life. For others people will enjoy their food and drink because lunch for them is can rest on the time. They’re in office working already enough stress and pressure, so until lunch some people don’t like to chat about business or working thing. They want to enjoy their lunch on the time. 



This is Yuzu restaurant, their behavior restaurant want to customer to enjoy some of Japan’s most popular dishes. Their YUZU brand name mean citrus fruit used to add a distinct flavor and tanginess to a dish. When we saw of this restaurant have a lot of type different cultural people and also have more people walked in to have their lunches there. This Japan restaurant will more high class restaurant.

Foreigner will think of this location of a business meeting or chatting can be just as important as the flow charts, statistics and pitch materials. Restaurants make sure as a great place to connect with a business partner while enjoying a delicious dinner, enjoying wine and a stellar atmosphere. There waiter should understand what foreigner people speaking and what they need it.

Furthermore, foreigner already habit in meeting drink wine. What I saw foreigner in Yuzu restaurant enjoying their drinking wine with lunch. That’s their business people are often under pressure from the expectation that they should know about many wines. Wine can make people fascinated by; can make people cheerful and optimistic.  In fact, wine generally produces feelings of relaxation and cheerfulness, but further consumption can lead to blurred vision and coordination problem.
But almost now everyone can universally agree that these effects are enjoyable. 

There can enjoy having control over state of mind and wine are a short cut to good feeling. Wine actually a depressant also. But a lot people start out happy and end up sad or depressed. It is like coming down off a high. Many people like to drink wine because of it makes them feel good for awhile, for example some people will more stress in working, they actually need some relaxed on the time.


This is what the comparison foreigner with local people. 




In this restaurant we can comparison what the foreigner with local people taking lunch. Wine normally drinks at night, but for foreigner drink wine in the lunch. It is kind of their lifestyle where they normally had eaten when they having business meeting in restaurant at home. Sometimes they often go to high class restaurant meeting and then called the waiter bring wine for them or their will bring themselves the expensive wine to enjoying drink in the restaurant. After that, they often go to high class restaurant because of high class restaurant wont very noisy and they won’t talk so louder. That is their cultural meeting.  Besides that, their always meeting will wear look like formal or luxurious, brand name clothes. And their every time meeting they will serious face to face to discuss about the business thing.

In addition, local people won’t drink wine in lunch, because normally they drink at night. However, local people will more focus in food, drink, or desert. They more were enjoying their food wont enjoying wine. And their more look like enjoy and had a lot of any post, what pattern also have and what kind of they wear go to high class restaurant still wear slipper and look like normal wear.  

This is what the different indoor and outdoor dining restaurant.  






This is what the different of indoor and outdoor restaurant; indoor is for some customer like to seating indoor restaurant because of indoor had Air cond, if eating or business meeting them also won't get easy hot. Some customer had to smoke so they will seat in outdoor restaurant. Some customer will thinking outdoor more fresh for foreigner, you can see type of different people, can overlook the park and lake, can enjoy the view and also can talking louder in outdoor, if indoor restaurant can’t smoke and talking louder especially high class restaurant.

Besides that, I saw the foreigner like to read book in the restaurant that actually is their habit and some other from the childhood began to love reading book. Their read book can relax and enjoying coffee with desert in outdoor restaurant. That’s normally their cultural life. However, local is not same with foreigner like to reading book in the restaurant. That is what their different cultural style. This is based on what I see and write down the cultural of customer in restaurant and cultural style.
