Writing For Designers - Task 1

Task 1: intro to writing

Based on this semester we have to choose one article from magazine, book, newspaper or somewhere. After that choose one article have to choose “five sentences” and then explain it why like this five sentences about it.

Finalized I choose article called “Character Building” from IDN (International designers Network) magazine. IDN magazine is quite famous and interesting. A lot of thing design can learn from there.

“Character Building” is most designer’s dream of creating an unforgettable character that will force a bond with viewers around the world. This magazine talk to some of them about the difficulties and satisfactions of this challenge and advice they would give to someone starting out on the character- building path.

Below is what i chooses five sentences:  

1.    If one of our character designs can make someone laugh then that’s the best things ever.

-     It is quite good word sentences, in the world a lot of people too stress in worked, get hurt in love or money problem, this is what they really need kind of things to make their relax.

2.    A good character design should express and deliver the designer’s emotions.

-          Actually this sentence is a good meaning and understanding. Everywhere person also had something to express their feelings and emotion.

3.    That can say and do things that I cannot always say and do.

-          Yea, these sentences can make me understanding in life not only say and do! In our life have to know a lot of thing for example like how to learn, how to communicate, how to know each other and so on.

4.    I like this feeling

-          I love this short sentence. Easy to understand and easy to remember. If someone makes you smile or saying I miss you, you can feel that happiness. Someone will say that “I like this feeling”.

5.    You can imagine them living around you.

-          This is a good sentence. For example when you are alone you can imagine and feel that your family living around you. Same like who design the character design can represent someone then can imagine that person living around you.
